We had a great time tonight, painting by a roaring fire, drinking mulled wine and creating! The subject for tonight was a snowy winter night. It was such fun going through the process with everyone. Marcus Z is a well known local artist and photographer. With work being published in Black and White Magazine as well as photography being choosen for the Calgary Stampede Photo Gallery, we are so pleased to have Marcus creating artwork that will be available to our clients. Although this is not new to Marcus, this new series that he has created is vibrant and inspired. As usual, there is a hidden meaning in all his work and is painstakingly planned and analysed.
I hated to do it but it must be done. To get into the frame of mind for artwork to be offered during November and Decembers Uncorked Paint Nights and Canvas & Coffee Days was really hard. It is October and my flowers are still alive. I can still sit out on the deck in the sun in my shorts! How to create artwork for chilly nights, snow shoveling and such.
